If you’re in the market for a smaller vehicle, the best model you can buy is the Chevrolet Bolt EV. That’s according to AAA, which recently ranked the Bolt Premier as the No. 1 small car in its 2021 Car Guide.
The Bolt EV’s agile handling, long all-electric range, and generous passenger space all won accolades from AAA’s annual guide, which is designed to make vehicle shopping a less stressful process.
“The learning curve and decisions to be made can be daunting, and our evaluations in the AAA Car Guide are designed to help drivers select a safe and comfortable vehicle that meets their needs,” said Megan McKernan, manager of the AAA’s Automotive Research Center.
The Bolt EV boasts 259 miles of driving range, so you won’t have to worry about losing power in the middle of nowhere. It accelerates smoothly and handles well, too, making the vehicle as fun to drive as it is efficient.
The interior of the Bolt EV offers plenty of room to keep up to five passengers comfortably, and it’s well-equipped with an array of safety and infotainment technologies. The Premier trim praised by AAA comes standard with driver-assist features like HD Surround Vision, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert.
