Purchasing a vehicle involves a lot paperwork, but if you come prepared with all the proper documentation, we can keep the process simple and fast to send you off in your new car, truck, or SUV in no time.

WHEN BUYING A CAR, YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Your driver’s license. Before selling you a vehicle, we of course require proof that you are legally allowed to operate it. The license must not be expired.
• Proof of insurance. Insurance is legally required for any vehicle you own. Talk with your agent ahead of time about transferring it over to your new vehicle when you purchase it, and come with proof that you are in fact insured.
• Payment. This one is a no-brainer, but oftentimes people forget their money at home. That’s because for big down payments, many buyers prefer to use checks or cash but aren’t accustomed to carrying around a checkbook — or that much cash.
• Discount information. Do you qualify for any form of discount through your employer or because of some kind of status, like as a veteran? Bring all required documentation to ensure you get that discount.
• Pay stubs. If you plan to finance your vehicle, we will pull your credit score and then work with various financial institutions to get you a fair deal. While we can pull the credit score on our own, we will not be able to pull proof of employment. Bring in recent pay stubs to prove that you are employed and are thus capable of keeping up with car payments.
• Trade-in materials. If you plan to trade in your current vehicle, you should of course bring that to the dealership (and all keys). In addition, bring all of that vehicle’s service records, its current vehicle registration, and the certificate of title to transfer it over to the dealership.
